Cookie Policy

Effective date: January 2026

This page explains exactly which cookies and browser storage AdProfitLens uses, why they are used, and how you can control them. It describes the platform's actual behaviour, not a generic template.

1. What we mean by “cookies”

Alongside classic cookies, AdProfitLens relies mainly on browser storage (localStorage) for the same purposes: keeping you signed in and remembering your interface preferences.

Wherever this policy says “cookies”, it also covers localStorage and sessionStorage entries set by the platform.

2. Essential cookies (always active)

Authentication session: the Supabase authentication token (key beginning with “sb-”) keeps you signed in and is required for every protected page, billing action and API call. Without it the product cannot function.

Security and integrity: short-lived state values used during Meta OAuth and payment return flows to make sure a callback belongs to the request you started.

Consent record: your choice on the cookie banner is stored locally (key “client.cookie-consent.v1”) so we do not ask again on every visit.

Essential cookies cannot be switched off, because disabling them would break sign-in, billing and security.

3. Preference cookies

Language and direction: your Hebrew/English choice (key “client.locale.v1”) so the interface opens in the language you picked.

Theme: light or dark mode (key “client.theme.v1”), applied before the page renders to avoid a flash.

Workspace state: the ad account you last selected and small UI state such as sidebar collapse, so the dashboard opens where you left it.

These entries contain no advertising data and are never shared with third parties.

4. Analytics cookies

AdProfitLens does not currently load any third-party analytics or tracking script (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no advertising SDK) on the product or marketing pages.

Product usage is measured server-side from your own account activity (for example credit consumption and analysis runs) as described in the Privacy Policy. That measurement is part of operating your account, not cross-site tracking.

If analytics cookies are introduced in the future they will be loaded only after you opt in through the cookie banner, and this page will be updated first.

5. Marketing cookies

We do not set marketing, retargeting or advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share browsing data with advertising networks.

The marketing preference in your cookie settings is stored so that, if such cookies are ever added, they remain disabled unless you have opted in.

6. Third-party services

Payments: when you start a checkout you are redirected to PayPlus, our payment provider. PayPlus sets its own cookies on its own pages under its own policy. Card details never reach our servers.

Infrastructure: Supabase (database, authentication, storage) and our hosting provider may set strictly technical cookies required to route and secure requests.

Meta: connecting an ad account sends you to Meta's own login and permission screens, which are governed by Meta's cookie policy.

7. Managing your consent

Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or the banner shown on your first visit, to accept or reject non-essential categories at any time.

Your choice is stored locally and applied immediately; rejecting analytics and marketing does not limit any paid feature.

You can also delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Doing so signs you out and resets your language, theme and workspace preferences.

8. Changes to this policy

If we add a new cookie category or a new third-party script, we will update this page and re-request consent before the script loads.
